Maximum 20 persons:
- 05 participants selected from postgraduate programs in Ecology*, Botany, Environmental and Forest Sciences of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT);
- 15 selected participants**;
* The workshop is an official course for postgraduates in Ecology by the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ecologia e Conservação da Biodiversidade (PPG ECB), UFMT.

** Preference will be given for an equal number of Brazilian and foreign participants.Postgraduate (Master and PhD) students should submit a short letter of intention and a short CV indicating their ability in English language as the workshop will be entirely performed in English.

Required
equipment from participants
The
participants should bring:
- Personal notebook;
- Clothes (including bedclothes a towel), boots, sun and rain protection as well as repellent;
The participants of the workshop should arrive on 11th June 2012 in Cuiaba; everybody will be hosted in the same hotel to facilitate logistics with estimated costs between R$ 70,00 (room with three beds) to R$ 130,00 (single room) including breakfast. Costs for dinner on 11th June is about R$ 35,00 (1 U$ = 1,80 R$).
